I made a big batch of cookies from the  NYT Best Cookie Ever recipe . They were pretty good, I’d say! Definitely the best cookies  I’ve  ever made. The hardest step is that you’re supposed to let the dough mature in the fridge for 24-36 hours. Let’s just say that about 20% of my batch, uh, didn’t survive to maturity. It’s just nature’s way.
